Dear Seniors,
You should have or are in the process of ordering your cap and gown. You can order it online at www.jostens.com or you can order over the phone by calling Jostens’ local office at 407-894-3131. Please note your cap and gown will be delivered to FHS to be picked up on May 9th (see calendar below). Also, Grad Nite at Busch Gardens tickets will go on sale this month. Online orders thru SchoolCash will occur February 16-27. Cash only sales will occur March 2, 4 and 6 after school in the media center. Tickets are $130 each, only FHS seniors may purchase at ticket (no guests allowed), and you must not have any outstanding obligations. See the calendar below for other events, dates, and information.

May 1 | Senior Signing Day
9:00 am in the FHS Performing Arts Center (PAC). Seniors and Parents will be invited to Senior Signing Day only if the Senior completes this form by April 22nd: Link to Senior Signing Day sign up
May 1 | Grad Nite 2026 @ Busch Gardens, Tampa, FL
Attendees (FHS seniors only) will meet in the cafeteria at 4:00 pm to board busses (you must ride bus; no student driving) then return to FHS by 2:30 am. Attendees must ride the bus to and from Busch Gardens. No exceptions.

May 29 | CLASS OF 2026 COMMENCEMENT
7:30pm at Addition Financial (UCF) Arena
Please note, during the 2025 Legislative Session, House Bill 1105 eliminated the certificate of completion from Florida Statute 1003.4282, and the State Board of Education updated Rule 6A-1.09963 to match the new law. As a result, students must pass both the Grade 10 FAST ELA Reading Assessment and the B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 EOC or earn an approved concordant score to receive a diploma and participate in the graduation ceremony. This is a district-wide OCPS policy that applies to all high schools, not just Freedom High School. Families are encouraged to ensure all requirements are met before graduation; if you are unsure of your student’s status, please contact their school counselor.
