The Patriot Report

Freedom High School Newsletter #26

May 24, 2026
Dear Freedom High School Community,

As we approach the close of another remarkable school year, I am filled with pride and gratitude for all that our Freedom High School community has accomplished. These past few weeks have been a true celebration of excellence, highlighting the talent, resilience, and dedication of our students and staff.
From academic recognitions and honor society inductions to leadership banquets, fine arts showcases, and athletic celebrations, our Patriots have continued to demonstrate what it means to lead with Honor, Excellence, and Tradition. We celebrated the achievements of our Leaders in Action students, recognized outstanding scholars through various honor societies, and created meaningful experiences through events like Field Day with Friends, bringing joy and connection to our campus. Our partnerships with families and community members, including the impactful XQ workshop, remind us that when we work together, we create powerful opportunities for our students.
As we reflect on these celebrations, we also look ahead with great excitement to one of the most significant milestones of the year, our Commencement Ceremony. We are honored to celebrate the Class of 2026 on Friday, May 29th at 7:30 PM at the Addition Financial Arena at UCF. This special evening will mark the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and growth, and we are incredibly proud of each graduate as they prepare to take their next steps.
To our seniors, thank you for the legacy you leave behind. You have made a lasting impact on our school, and you will always be a part of the Patriot family. To our underclassmen and families, thank you for your continued support and commitment to making Freedom High School a place where every student can thrive.
Let us finish this year strong and come together to celebrate the success of our students, because at Freedom, we are always #PatriotProud.

We are Freedom! 💙❤️

With Patriot Pride,

XQ Workshop: Shaping the Future Together

We are proud to highlight the powerful partnership showcased during the recent XQ workshop, where parents, students, teachers, counselors, and administrators came together to collaborate with the XQ Institute and OCPS. Over two engaging days, participants shared ideas, engaged in meaningful activities, and explored innovative ways to shape the future of education at Freedom High School.
This experience underscored the value of collaboration and the importance of ensuring every voice is heard as we work toward creating impactful, student-centered change. Thank you to all who represented our Patriot community with insight, passion, and a commitment to excellence!
