Orange County Public Schools will update adopted materials for the 2026–27 school year in line with the Florida Department of Education timeline. This adoption includes K–12 World Languages, Visual & Performing Arts, and Health & Physical Education, with AP World Languages also under review.

To meet state requirements, OCPS is inviting parent volunteers to serve on adoption review committees. Parents must have a child currently enrolled in an OCPS school and be able to:

• Attend a live online orientation (Jan. 13 or 14, 2026)
• Complete rubrics for publisher entries (up to 30 hours, Jan. 13–Feb. 13, 2026)
• Participate in an in‑person meeting at RBELC (Feb. 23–27, 2026)
• Represent the needs of all OCPS students and teachers

Apply by December 1, 2025 at IM.OCPS.NET. Selected applicants will be notified by December 12, 2025. Volunteer hours may be earned through participation.
