The Patriot Report

A weekly newsletter for our Freedom High School community.

From the Desk of Charles France, Principal

Dear Freedom High School Families,

As we close out our first quarter, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible momentum we’ve built together. Our students, teachers, and families have shown what it truly means to be part of the Freedom High School community—resilient, committed, and always striving for excellence.
We are thrilled to celebrate Alladin MBA, our National Merit Scholar Semifinalist, along with our National Merit Commended Students. Their achievements are a testament to the power of hard work, focus, and academic dedication. They represent the very best of what our students can accomplish with the right support and determination.
This quarter, 60% of our students were recognized for their outstanding performance on PM1 assessments in Biology, Algebra, ELA 9/10, Geometry, and U.S. History. Even more inspiring, 50 of our emerging bilingual students made the honor roll, a reflection of their perseverance and the unwavering support of our teachers who go above and beyond every day.
Our educators continue to deliver powerful, engaging lessons that not only prepare students for assessments but also ignite curiosity and a love for learning. Their commitment is the foundation of our success, and we are so grateful for their passion and professionalism.
Looking ahead, we are excited to showcase even more student accomplishments—including our industry certification recipients and AP test proficiency scholars—with a special recognition display in our courtyard next fall. These milestones are more than just accolades; they are stepping stones toward college, careers, and lifelong achievement.
To our families: your partnership is essential. Whether it’s encouraging your student to stay organized, checking in on their progress, or simply asking about their day, your involvement makes a world of difference. Together, we can continue to build a culture of excellence and support that empowers every student to thrive.
Thank you for being an integral part of our Freedom High School family. We look forward to sharing more highlights and celebrations in our weekly newsletters. Let’s keep the momentum going!
With appreciation and pride,

At Freedom High School, celebrating student success is one of our most cherished traditions. This year, our campus proudly displays vibrant banners honoring students who earned industry certifications and those who scored a 3 or higher on AP exams. These visual tributes serve as daily reminders of the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence that define our Patriot community. By showcasing these achievements, we not only recognize individual accomplishments—we inspire every student to aim high and believe in their potential.

Their success is made possible through the unwavering support of our teachers, who create inclusive, welcoming classrooms, and our student body, who foster a culture of encouragement and belonging. Together, we’ve built an environment where every learner can thrive.
These accomplishments reflect the heart of Freedom High School: a place where every student is empowered to succeed.

Chorus - Candlelight Honor Choir

We have exciting news! Please join us in congratulating the Freedom Chorus Program! Their incredible dedication has made them an Honor Choir for the first time since 2019! To be selected as an Honor Choir means that they were one of the top 12 highest-scoring choirs to audition in Central Florida. They have earned the honor of performing not once, not twice, but three times in the Candlelight Processional at Epcot this year!

They will sing along side the Walt Disney World Orchestra, the Voice of Liberty and Celebrity Guest Narrators Jennifer Garner and Lauren Daigle.
