Principal's Message

Welcome! Thank you for choosing Freedom High School-- where learning is our top priority. I am humbled to have the opportunity to serve as your proud principal for the 2018-2019 school year.

At Freedom, we believe that “Demography does not equal destiny” and our diverse students face adversity with an unparalleled drive to continually challenge themselves, and those around them, to achieve excellence. Whether a student is returning to Freedom or new to the community, our goal is to work collaboratively to provide the rigorous coursework and ample opportunities necessary to prepare our students for success.

The Freedom High School faculty and staff have an unwavering commitment to the success of each student on our campus.  Our high performing and dedicated team work together with families and the community to ensure students are provided not only with an education, but also with the resources and support to achieve their academic goals.  The driving force behind Freedom's success is its faculty's willingness to do "whatever it takes" to help our students succeed.

I look forward to doing “whatever it takes” alongside our students, faculty, staff, families, and community to enrich our founding principles of honor, tradition, and excellence throughout the 2018-2019 school year.

Sincerely,

Cheryl Neely Mir
