Digital "One to One"

OCPS Digital High School

We are proud to announce that Freedom High School is a fully digital high school. Every student has the option to receive an OCPS laptop, free of charge, when they enroll in the school. This device will be used throughout the year in the classroom and at home. At the end of the year, it is returned to the school for refurbishing.

Important: After enrolling your student into Freedom HS, please go to Progress Book/Parent Access to fill out the Parent Tech, Media, and Info Consent AND theDigital Learning Agreement form. These forms must be filled out every year before a device can be issued to a student. OCPS is no longer accepting paper copies of these forms.  If you do not know your login for Progress Book, please call the school for that information. This information can also be accessed on the day of Device Checkout if you do not know this.

Please see note below from the District on the Parent Access portal and difficulties we have been experiencing:

Message from the District: “Due to the high volume of users trying to log-in to Parent Access, an error message may appear. If this occurs, please try back later today or this weekend. The district is currently working to correct the issue. Thank you for your patience.”

Orange County Public Schools is committed to researching innovative digital curriculum, instruction, and assessment models. The LaunchED program was developed using the results of a two year pilot program which provided the opportunity to assess the effectiveness of an innovative curriculum, instruction, or assessment model on a small scale. The LaunchED program provides each student and teacher in  schools that have LaunchED their own device to use in a blended learning environment.   For more information click here
