Freedom High School student team consisting of Wilner Padilla, Miriam Arciniega Velazquez, Ryan Brown, Zhane Brown, and Sarah Isaak, competed in Orange County's 2019 Battle of the Books Competition held at East River High School. Over 17 Orange County teams competed against each other through four rounds of trivia questions covering content from 15 Florida Teen Reads novels.
The competition was tough but our Patriots rose to the challenge bringing home the 3rd place trophy and securing the highest rank Freedom has received in the school's history.
