SEPTEMBER 2017
Freedom is proud to announce that, our very own 2013 alumnus, Christian Cuevas has passed the blind audition for Season 11 of NBC's The Voice. Christian sang Michael Bolton's "How Am I supposed to Live Without You" in tribute to his late father. Three judges immediately turned their chairs around when Christian began to sing.
During Christian's audition, Adam Levine stood in appreciation of the performance and although all the judges were impressed, Christian ultimately selected to work with coach Alicia Keyes.
Christian is currently a student at Rollins College studying music but is putting his studies on hold during the run of the show. While Christian was a student at Freedom, he participated in the "Orange County's Top Talent" competition held at The Hard Rock Live venue in 2013; he was the 1st place winner and fan favorite.
We have no doubt that Christian will continue to wow audiences and be a fan favorite here at Freedom. We send all our love and support his way as he continues on, in his pursuit, to win The Voice 2016.
Tune-in to NBC on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 pm to follow Christian's journey.
